Coaching

Philosophy

ASA coaches understand that we are entrusted with your most precious commodity – your children. We know because our children play or have played in the community, as well. It is our philosophy to treat all parents and players with the utmost respect and dignity, to provide a safe environment to learn good habits through hard work and taking the risk of learning something new. All of our coaches are volunteers and have varying degrees of experience, but many have and do coach at higher levels. Coaches are strictly monitored and required to attain age-appropriate US Soccer licenses through PA West and state and national clearances to ensure the safety of your player.

Director of Coaching

ASA is excited to announce Ross Taggart as our Director of Coaching (DOC)! Ross was hired in the spring and you may have seen him during training sessions, games, and evaluations over the spring and summer, while he was evaluating our program. Ross brings a wealth of experience and a sharp mind to our programs and will be rolling out new coaching initiatives and plans across the board to continue to elevate our programs!
